Using a Search Term as a Filter
You can filter the Summary list of lab results by searching for any term or phrase. Only the lab results that have that phrase in either the panel name or one of the component names are shown.
1. Tap into the Search field located at the top of the Lab Results Summary.
2. Enter any phrase into the Search field, and then select the Search key on the virtual keyboard.
The virtual keyboard is hidden, and only the panels that match your search criteria are shown. For example:
-“Thy” would find Thyroid panels, because the panel name contains the letters “Thy.”
-“T4” would find Thyroid panels, because one of the component names is “T4.”
-“WB” would find CBC panels, because one of the component names (WBC) contains the letters “WB.”
To go back to showing all of the lab results for the patient:
Clear the Search field by tapping the X on the right side of the field.
All of the patient’s lab results are shown again.
